Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to hire a DJ? Call for an exact quote, the rate usually depends on several factors. Our rates are very competitive and are consistent with the going rates of most professional DJ services in our area. We can give you a quick quote over the phone. On average most brides spend about 5% of their budget on a DJ, but numerous articles in bridal magazines and the internet stated that most brides said that if they could do it all over again they would have spent probably 10%-15% of their wedding budget on a better DJ.

What type of music do you play? We have a wide variety of music selections. Unlike many DJ's, we don't just specialize in 1 or 2 types of music genre. We have in-depth knowledge of many types of music such as: Top-40, Hip-Hop/Rap (Clean versions), Dance, R&B, Country, Oldies, Disco, Salsa, Reggae, Soca, Dance Hall, Zydeco, Jazz, Blues, 60's, 70's, 80', 90's, Motown, Rock, Classic Rock, and Alternative. We subscribe to several DJ music pools, therefore we always will have the latest (Legal) copies of all the current hits.
How much experience do you have as a DJ? Our DJ's have been providing music entertainment, since the early 90's. We have experience in many different music genre, and have played for all types of audiences. Because we have been in the game so long, we have a wealth of music selections. We provide the fine tuned skills necessary to deliver perfect performances.
What kind of equipment do you have? We have invested thousands of dollars in the best state of the art sound systems around. We can provide sound for large and small events and everything in between. Our Standard and Deluxe DJ setup consist of the new Bose L1 Model II w/ 4 Bose subs. Folks, this is the best of the best!! We always carry backup equipment in case of a malfunction or component failure.
How far will you travel? We currently service the greater Houston and surrounding areas, but also accept opportunities to DJ outside of the Houston area such as: Galveston, Lake Livingston, Conroe, The Woodlands, San Antonio, Austin, Beaumont/Port Arthur etc...
Can we see you perform before we decide to hire? It depends. We NEVER invite prospective clients to private events or wedding receptions (do you really want people you didn't invite to show up at your event?). However, if we are at a public function (school dance, festivals, etc), you are welcome to come and see us play. Please be aware that the majority of events we book are wedding receptions, private parties, and corporate events. There is a good chance that there won't be any public events that will fit within your hiring schedule.
Is my deposit refundable? Sorry, but your retainer fee is non-refundable. The retainer fee is to secure your date. If for some reason you need to change your date, your deposit would count toward the new date (as long as that date is open).
Are you insured? All of our equipment is fully insured. You don't need to worry about unforeseen or last minute equipment issues. We also carry liability insurance coverage, which is required at some venues. Always make sure your DJ can provide proof of liability insurance if your venue requires, otherwise that DJ may be unable to perform at your event.
